MSS: (EnableDeadGWDetect) Configure dead gateway detection

This policy determines if TCP will try to detect "dead" gateways. When enabled, TCP may ask IP to change to a backup gateway if it retransmits a segment several times without receiving a response. Disabling this can prevent failover to a backup gateway but can also prevent network disruption if the primary gateway is falsely detected as down.
