MSS: (SynAttackProtect) Configure TCP SYN attack protection

Configures how the TCP/IP stack responds to SYN flood attacks. A SYN attack can exhaust system resources by sending a high volume of TCP SYN packets (connection requests) and not completing the handshake. Enabling this protection makes the system more resilient to such attacks.

Allowed Values
  • 0 Disabled: Standard SYN-ACK retransmissions.
  • 1 Enabled: Retransmissions are reduced and connection timeouts are faster when an attack is detected.
