Protected Mode

Protected Mode is one of the application's most advanced security features and should be enabled to protect user systems and data. Protect mode transparently protects users against attacks by sandboxing the Acrobat DC application processes. Protected Mode is enabled by default. Configuring this setting to Enabled or Disabled prevents users from changing it from the administrator's desired configuration. Not Configured and Enabled have the same behavior of enabling Protected Mode. Users can change the value when it is set to Not Configured.
